Hello one and all, happy new year, and hope you all had a good xmas and drank and ate lots.
Just wanted to mention a couple things.

Firstly, just wanted to say a huge thank you for the continuous support from a selected number of individuals in our home town. It really is appreciated that you guys still keep coming and watching us, without getting on my soapbox, so many people (probably 99%) would rather walk past us playing and watch a Take That cover band (no offence Gary) and worse still a band that that not only plays covers but plays them shite. So my point is this, that 1% who watch us in my eyes are amazing, because the 99% can't seem to work out that all the bands that they like, had to play in a back room of a dodgy pub too, somewhere - yes really!

Secondly, we gave away a 3 track on New years eve, and the response we are getting back is brilliant, which brings me to a cracking bloke. Mr Jeremy Gill has put in hour upon hour engineering, producing, computer crashing, hearing the same fucking song all day, which believe me takes some doing, but he got there. The 3 tracks sound great, shortly we will have the forth complete and we will have a 4 track for your listening pleasure. Also thanks for your soundcheck skills,
So Mr Gill THANK YOU.
I'm surprised he still wants anything to do with us quite frankly. As Tony has said, you really won't know the hours we put in to recording and trying to produce an end product, but hey as long as you all enjoy it.

Lastly, hopefully within the next few weeks we will have a new video for your viewing pleasure, and it will be damm good if I do say so myself thanks to its star Helen, Helen I thank you.. A couple other thank you's also need to be said, to Karen, Kirsty and Mike for your loyal work.

And very lastly, being in a band ain't a holiday, its bloody hard work, and you have learn to compromise, its like being in 3 relationships sometimes. But for the buzz of an end product of a show or a recording its worth it. Long live Antitrust and anyone who rides her. Will

Happy New Year!

And what better way to start the year than to do what we love, playing LIVE.
We headed back to our first gig venue, The Racehorse, excellently supported by Codebreaker, to make the last moments of 2007 as noisy as hell!

A huge thanks to all those who came and supported us, and not be temped to be drawn to seedy nightclubs or sit on a sofa somewhere fixed to the television (kill yours). We hope you like the free 3 track CD. Weve put our heart and soul into making it, and a great time to name drop and thank the fantastic Gilly, for taking what we do live and squeezing it onto a CD.

Were playing a charity gig at the Marlboro Club in Ilfracombe Friday (4th Jan) for anyone who can make it. We'll see you soon.

Keep rocking in 2008!

The first Antitrust Tour (27 28 29 Sept)

Well boys and girls, I think it is now safe to say, Antitrust is at the peak so far in its rocky way through life. With line up changes, musical direction changes and a few arguments along the way. The Antitrust tour ( ok, 3 dates, but a tours a tour guys), took off.

Thursday 27 September

With only a few days notice we were asked to support Salvation Failed at the White Horse, Tivvy, we said yeah why not. Being a Thursday night, and the open minded people of Tiverton who came along (not) we still had a cracking night, Salvation failed are top guys, and I would recommend you go see them. We only played half-hour but felt pretty clicked, as a band and we seemed to go down well. Big thank you to the guys who did come and show support. Had a couple drinkies, went home.

Friday 28 September

If we had a tour T-shirt it should have been titled “get in the car 07 tour”. It was a challenge but we managed to get all the gear we needed into Si’s car and us, which was no mean feat and caused much entertainment. (p.s. I think Si should put a photo of his car on the web site to give an idea of our impossible task) Anyway we made our way to Ilfacombe at the Marlboro club to support Blackout from Reading. Apart from the journey, not a lot to say really, except personally I felt out of the 3 nights, that night we played the best, we were spot on, nearly, very nearly as good as S club 7. Obviously joking about the S club 7 bit meant to say Bewitched. Got back home. This last part is just for 3 people if they are fortunate to read this. Tony, Si and I quickly went out in Tivvy after to give out some flyers for Saturdays gig. When to cut a long story short we were confronted by 3 dimwits who spent evenings driving round and round town. Won’t go in to it, but guys seriously, take a look at yourselves and do something with your life. Cos the next we see you, you fucking arrogant waste of 3 spaces on this earth we may not be so reasonable.

Saturday 29 September

Finally the big one, for me anyway! at the Half Moon in Tivvy, all my mates came which was cracking. took all afternoon, to set up but got there with the extra help of Gilly, Mike, Will and Karen, thank you guys! Timeframe (there name at the mo) supported us and bloody hell, what can I say, it was there first gig and they were excellent, got a feeling they will go far if they chose to. So congratulation guys on that. As for us, well hey, it was our town, so we had a little party, didn’t take it too serious. And all in all, I think I can safely say everyone had a good time. Thank you to everyone who turned up on Saturday to support us. It gets very tedious, when the first thing someone says to you is what covers do you do. So for the millionth time...

WE ARE NOT A COVERS BAND - OK

Well that's it, babbled on far too much. Look out for more gigs soon and also 4 wonderful tracks coming your way on a compact disc very shortly.

Thank you for your continuous support!

Will (with very bruised elbows from Saturday nigh - hmm)

Happy New Year to everyone.
So much to say, so little space! Thanks to all those who came and supported us on the 30th December. We had a great night, and rocked hard. 2 days before the gig, Randy, our drummer decided to part ways with Antitrust. We were shocked, but the last thing we will do is let down our fans, so we asked a friend of the band, Frank, if he would bang the tubs for us for the evening. He put many hours in and learnt 20 songs in a couple of days. So a huge thank you to him for that, and much respect and appreciation.
So we started 2007 with a air of uncertainty. However, we quickly got our heads sorted and can now say that in 2007 our aims are to write some new great material, record our first EP and get out and about and gig. In order to do this, and after the commitment and dedication put in by him, we have asked Frank to join us.
We have added some new photos to the gallery, from the last gig plus some from previous gigs too with huge thanks for Damo and Teresa for those!
See you real soon

Its 12.35 am and I've spent a few hours trying to clean this collection of web pages up so we can go live. Thanks to Ray and Will for providing some content for the site, but we need hell of a lot more. I always had a catch 22 situation when it came to web sites. I always knew how to make them and do it fairly well, but I also knew that unless you had the content, there was little or no point. So I had a skill but nothing to use it on! But thats changed now. With a new inspiration, I plan to create a reasonably good web site. Nothing flashy, fancy or unrequired. Basic, factual and to the point, except for the old rants!
But I swear by feedback! If you never get any feedback how can you improve. We use feedback every day, from someone making a suggestion to how our hand retracts from a hot source. So thats where you can help. Provide feedback, make suggestions, constructive criticisms etc. Everything helps.
